David Beckham, Malaga next owner?

The Los Angeles Times reported in its Monday edition that David Beckham could become, along with former American soccer player Alexi Lalas, the next largest shareholder of Málaga.

According to the information of that newspaper, Beckham and Lalas, former president of the LA Galaxy, the English footballer currently club, both lead to change a stock swap with Sheikh Abdullah Al-Thani, who has put up for sale its stakes in the Spanish  club  because of their poor economic situation.

Lalas said Beckham exchanged its stakes with Al-Thani  in some clubs and companies in the Middle East, and they would take control of 75% of the Andalusian club.

Malaga sources have denied any record of the transaction.
